Academics

The core curriculum for all grade levels includes Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. Students also receive Religion, Technology, Music, Art, and Physical Education weekly. Critical thinking, problem solving, cooperative work, and hands-on learning are incorporated into the daily learning experience at Assumption Catholic School.

Our students consistently achieve high academic success as evidenced by our standardized test scores. Also, more than 75% of our last 5 years of graduates who attend Hibbing High School are on the honor roll! Learning comes alive through hands-on projects, which integrate all areas of the curriculum and through a variety of exciting field trips. 

All students participate in Religion classes, which provide instruction in scripture, Christian morality, and worship and prayer. Our school family extends its practice of the faith beyond our school walls by assisting others in our local and global community on a regular basis.
